Six Flags Inc.'s patrons apparently are enjoying their visits during the holidays when various theme parks are decked out for Christmas. Six Flags Fiesta Texas' Holiday in the Park event has been named one of iParenting Media's Best Products of 2008.

Holiday in the Park is an end-of-year family event complete with holiday-themed shows, millions of lights, seasonal food and decor.

New York-based Six Flags (NYSE: SIX) also holds Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif.

"Holiday in the Park is about creating a fantasyland, where candy canes, and giant-sized toys come to life," says Carol Silver, Six Flags corporate director of entertainment and marketing. "The holidays are such a magical time of year -- the sights, the sounds, the nostalgia -- and this event was created to enrich those warm feelings and wonderful memories for guests of all ages."

Winners of iParenting Media Awards Best Products of 2008 ranged from high-tech toys, safety gear, educational software, books, audio CDs and Web sites.
